In May the exchange rate of national currency increased 0.48%, the Baku Interbank Exchange told Trend. The rate of manat increased from 0,9028 manats to 0,8985 manats per 1 USD.
As a result the average sustained rate of manat in respect to US dollar made up 0,9013 manats per 1 USD in May, whereas in April it was equal to 0,9061 manats. In general over the past year the rate of the national currency rose 5.68% in respect to USD.
