(autoinsidernews) - ROUSH Performance, one of the leading Ford tuners, has put together three performance kits for Shelby GT500, which will offer up to 700 horsepower.
The upgrades start will a simple addition of a Cold Air Kit with a new calibration which adds 45 horsepower. The next step is the 2.3L blower package which delivers an additional 120 horsepower and 88 lb.-ft. of torque, all while keeping a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty. This warranty does not void any factory warranty. The kit includes the ROUSHcharger, a 78mm non-removable pulley and new calibration, reports Trend.
The top-of-the-line kit is a non-warranty version if the same kit. This version is expected add 200 horsepower to the stock GT500 engine, up to 700 horsepower. Customers have to purchase a 72mm or 76mm pulley separately, and this version does not include an upgraded calibration.
ROUSH has not yet announced pricing for the upgrades.
