The exchange rate of the National Currency Manat has increased by 0.2 percent, a source in the Baku Stock Exchange (BSEX), told Trend today. At the same time, the exchange rate of USD decreased from 0.8747 AZN down to 0.8722 AZN per one USD
As a result, in October, 2006, the weighted average rate of Manat against USD made up 0.8734 AZN per one USD, whilst in September, 2006, it was equal to 0.8774 AZN, 0.9156 AZN in January, 2006. On the whole, over the past year, the exchange rate of the National Currency versus USD has become stronger by 4.94%.
