The first meeting of the Council of Trustees of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Foundation (AZPROMO) in 2007 will take place on February 6th.
The meeting is expected to be held under the chairmanship of the Head of the Council, Minister of Economic Development, Heydar Babayev, Trend reports referring to AZPROMO.
The agenda of the meeting includes the report of the Foundation in 2006, plans for 2007, plan of measures and the question of admitting new members to the Council of Trustees.
Presently proposals of 17 companies are being considered. The Council of Trustees brings together 74 members.
The 2007 plan of action includes nearly 30 measures вЂ" business-forums and presentations. There are plans to support mainly export and investments this year.
Plans of AZPROMO also include creating information centers in the regions of Azerbaijan and abroad.
