Khalilova / The amount of the average monthly salary in Azerbaijan in January-February, 2007 reached AZN 161.4, that was on 25.4 percent more versus the corresponding amount registered last year, a source in the State Statistics Committee has told Trend. The highest monthly wage was fixed in the processing industry, field of economic activity, operations with immovable property, rendering services in the sphere of rent (lease), as well as consumer services, and construction sector.
In the reporting period, the average monthly salary exceeded the average monthly cash incomes per capita by 34.3 percent. This indicator reached AZN 216.8 at a growth of 31.5 percent against the corresponding indicator registered last year.
To March 1, 2007, the face cash incomes per capita reached AZN 216.8 that exceeded the corresponding figure registered in January-February, 2006 by 31.5 percent. The real cash incomes per capita reached AZN 194.3 at a growth of 35.6 percent.
Since January, 2007 through February, 2007, the face cash incomes of the population of Azerbaijan were AZN 1.825.700.000, that was on 33 percent more versus the figure registered last year. The real cash incomes of the population in the reporting period reached AZN 1.636.100.000 at a growth of 37.2 percent. In January-February, 2007, the population of the country spent 76.9 percent of their private cash incomes to acquiring different goods, foods, and services, 10.4 percent - on paying taxes, social insurance, and obligatory membership fees, and 12.7 percent - on accumulating and increasing their capital.
The cash outlay of the population of Azerbaijan in the reporting period was on AZN 42.9 mln less as compared with their cash incomes and reached AZN 1.593.200.000, that is by 28.4 percent exceed the cash outlays versus the corresponding period of last year (AZN 1.241.000.000).
