Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Basak-Inam joint stock insurance company has exspanded its operations on property insurance that is an object of mortgage loaning.
A source at the company reported on 10 May that 30 property risks have been registered since the beginning of 2007.
The interest rate on property insurance varied from 0.2% to 0.34%.
The clients of the insurance were the Turan bank, Texnikabank, Bank of Baku, Bank Respublika, Azerbacan Kredit Banki, and Azer-Turk Banki.
The insurance premiums of the Basak-Inam comprised AZN 0.86mln and the payments AZN 0.23mln in the first quarter of the year.
