Ukraine, Kiev / corr Trend Z.Novosvitskiy / In January to May 2007, the foreign goods turnover between Ukraine and Azerbaijan made up $249.4mln, the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine reports.
During this period goods exported from Ukraine to Azerbaijan made up $239.9mln (a 95.3% increase compared to 2006), whilst Ukraine imported goods made up $9.5mln or 74% of the overall turnover volume for January to May 2006.
In May the export of goods from Ukraine to Azerbaijan constituted $48.3mln (a 30% increase compared to May 2006), whilst goods imported by Ukraine comprised $3.025mln which is double the amount in May 2006.
