Implementation of Project on Introduction of Estimation, Monitoring, Planning of Incomes, and Opening New Jobs Begins in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr I. Khalilova / The Scientific-Research Reforms Institution at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry and UN Economic and Social Commission on Asia and Pacific Countries (UNESCAP) signed an agreement on introducing a system on estimation, monitoring, and planning of incomes, and opening of jobs.

UNESCAP experts, Amitava Miheraje and Eugene German are expected to visit Azerbaijan between 26 July and 2 August in order to study the problems of the population's employment and income situation. They have plans to hold discussions with representatives of the Ministries of Economic Development, Labour, and Social Security, the State Statistics Committee, as well as UN's Baku representation. They will also visit Shamakhy and Khachmaz. A round table will be held at the Scientific-Research Institution on the last day of the visit in order to exchange viewpoints with representatives of state bodies.
