Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 10/ Trend / In January the Baku Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev (former Azneftyanajag) of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijani Republic) produced 0,1400 tons of oil coke as compared to 0,9500 tons in January of 2007, SOCAR said.
Total production of oil coke made up 168,930 tons in 2008. About 84,740 tons of coke was produced in 2007 and 67,240 tons in 2006. The refinery did not produce oil coke in 2005.
Russian aluminum plants are major consumers of Azerbaijan's oil coke.
