The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1,388 euro per 1,000 liters in 27 EU countries last week (Nov. 29-Dec. 6). The price is 25 euro over the average for the previous week.
The highest price - 1,555 euro per 1,000 liters - was observed in the Netherlands. The price increased by 26 euro.
The lowest price was 1,087 euro per 1,000 liters in Cyprus, or 3 euro less than a week earlier.
Greece took second place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,544 euro per 1,000 liters or 24 euro more than the previous week.
The price in Denmark increased by 41 euro and hit 1,516 euro per 1,000 liters.
Finland took fourth place for most expensive petrol. The price hit 1,490 euro per 1,000 liters increasing by 30 euro.
Sweden took fifth place last week. The price hit 1,457 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,396 euro per 1,000 liters the previous week.
Germany took the sixth place last week. The price was 1,447 euro per 1,000 liters increasing by 31 euro.
The price in Belgium increased by 29 euro and hit 1,432 euro per 1,000 liters.
The price in Great Britain increased by 10 euro and hit 1,422 euro per 1,000 liters.
The price in Portugal hit 1,421 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,392 euro per 1,000 liters.
The price in Italy increased by 28 euro and hit 1,412 euro per 1,000 liters.
