The volume of oil supplies to the EU countries amounted to 896.13 million barrels in January-March 2011, a report posted on the official website of the European Commission reads.

The largest volume of oil imports in the EU during this period came from Russia - 277.839 million barrels, making 31 percent of total oil deliveries to the EU. The smallest

amount came from Oman - 60 million barrels

During the report period, the EU imported oil worth more than $92.47 billion at an average price of $103.19 per barrel on the conditions CIF.

Of the total oil supplies to the EU countries, 131.974 million barrels (14.73 percent) fell to the share of the Middle East, 203.923 million barrels (22.76 percent) - Africa, 398.220 million barrels (44.44 percent) - the former Soviet Union , 137.392 million barrels (15.33 percent) - European countries and the share of Latin American countries hit 24.624 million barrels (2.75 percent).

In 2010, the EU was delivered 3.76 billion barrels of oil worth over $ 296.8 billion at an average price of $78.91 per barrel under the conditions CIF.
