Iran denied gasoline import from Chinese refineries. The country will not exchange oil with gasoline, Mehr News Agency quoted Deputy Oil Minister Alireza Zeyghami as saying.
"Iran did not purchase any gasoline from international companies from the beginning of current solar year (started on March 20, 2011) up to now," he said.
At present, Iran's refineries produce about 50 million liters of basic gasoline daily.
He stressed that the new gasoline production unit in Imam Khomeini refineries will produce 3 million liters of super gasoline and naphtha while the other units will produce 87 and 95 octane gasoline.
