JSC Moststroy will provide design and construction of bridges, which make up the access roads to the hydroelectric power plant Namahvani.
Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia noted that the contract with the company winning the tender will be issued in the near future. Moststroy would provide the construction of bridges on Rioni river near the Tvishi and Zhoneti villages.
The tender for the design and construction of bridges for Namahvani HPP was announced in March.
Cascade of Hydroelectric power plant Namahvani with capacity of 450 MW is planned to be built on the river Rioni in western Georgia. Cascade combine three objects - Tvishi HPP with capacity of 100 MW, Namahvani HPP with capacity of 250 MW and Zhoneti HPP with capacity of 100 MW. It is also planned to build a power line in this region. The project cost is $ 800 million, the construction period - 5 years.
