Production of the Isfahan Oil Refinery, located in Iran's Isfahan Province, is set to increase, as was stated by the CEO of Isfahan Oil Refinery Morteza Ebrahimi, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.

According to him, the company is currently working on drafting a comprehensive project in the refinery to this end.

Ebrahimi added that the launch of the project will ensure that products manufactured at the refinery, such as gasoline and diesel, will be on par with global standards in terms of volume and quality.

Noting that the refinery receives an average of 375,000 barrels of crude oil for processing daily, Ebrahimi added that the plant produces gasoline, diesel, white oil, liquid gas and fuel oil.

"Currently, the 11 million liters of gasoline that the company produces daily is manufactured in accordance with the Euro 4 and Euro 5 standards," he said.

Isfahan Oil Refinery produces about 2 million liters of diesel a day in accordance with the Euro 4 and Euro 5 standards.

With the launch of the diesel processing unit, the company will produce 22 million liters of diesel in accordance with the Euro 5 standard by the end of the current Iranian year (until March 21, 2020).
