The oil refineries of Uzbekneftegaz JSC in 2M2021 processed 259,900 tons of raw materials, exceeding the plan by 1.2 percent, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to Uzbekneftegaz, 28,600 tons of local gas condensate, 157,000 tons of imported oil, 35,800 tons of imported gas condensate, 20,600 and 4,100 tons of imported gas oil raw materials were processed during the reported period.
Thus, as a result of processing 259,900 tons of raw materials, Uzbekneftegaz oil refineries produced 158,700 tons of gasoline (exceeding the plan by 5.3 percent to the plan), 53,400 tons of diesel fuel (50.4 percent), 18,500 tons of fuel oil (92.5 percent) and 12,200 tons of other petroleum products.
According to the information, a number of effective measures are being taken at the Uzbekneftegaz oil refinery in order to diversify production, improve product quality, meet consumer demand for high-quality oil products and produce competitive products.
In particular, the Bukhara Oil Refinery in 2020 launched production of a new type of gasoline under the QuWatt RON-95 brand.
By the end of December 2020, the production of this type of gasoline was launched, which now amounts to 480 tons, of which 234 tons fell on 2M2021.
The refinery also produces 7,900 tons of Euro-4, -5 diesel fuel and supplies it to the country's consumers at exchange auctions.
Furthermore, together with specialists from SK&EC and UOP, the world's leading companies are implementing an investment project for the modernization and reconstruction of the Bukhara oil refinery. Also, the FEED project is being developed within the time frame specified in the resolution of the 30th meeting of the Government Commission for the Development of Export and Investment.
It is reported that four specialists of the Bukhara Oil Refinery were mobilized to South Korea as part of the project for the modernization and reconstruction of the Bukhara oil refinery in order to complete the main project documentation (FEED) by SK E&C (Korea) on time.
