Several facilities to be launched in Iran’s water sector

As many as 7 facilities in the water sector will be launched in Iran's Hormozgan, Fars, and Kurdistan provinces tomorrow on May 25, Trend reports citing Ministry of Energy of Iran.

According to the report, a total of 7.81 trillion rials (about $186 million) was spent on these facilities.

So, a water dam, a wastewater filtration center, and a water collection and filtration center will be launched in the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran). About 880 billion rials (about $20.9 million) were spent on these facilities.

In addition, three wastewater filtration centers will be launched in the Fars Province (southern Iran). About 1.32 trillion rials (about $31.4 million) were spent on these facilities.

Also, a water pipeline and an 11-kilometer-long water tunnel will be launched in the Kurdistan Province (western Iran). In this regard, 1.4 trillion rials (about $33.3 million) were spent.

The event dedicated to the launch of the facilities will be attended by Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian and other officials.

Reportedly, the costs on the facilities to be launched tomorrow have not been fully disclosed.
