BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 12. Azerbaijan exported 7.3 billion cubic meters of gas from January through August 2022, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said on Twitter, Trend reports.
According to Shahbazov, the country increased the export volume by 23 percent on annual basis.
The volume of gas exported from Azerbaijan to Türkiye in the first eight months of this year equaled 5.4 billion cubic meters, and to Georgia - 1.7 billion cubic meters.
Totally, 30.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Azerbaijan in the reporting period, which is 9.7 percent more than from January through August 2021, while 14.4 billion cubic meters were exported abroad.
