Azerbaijani NBCO increases total capital by third

The volume of the total assets of Azerbaijan’s Viator Microcredit Azerbaijan (VMA) non-bank credit organization (NBCO) amounted to 4.878 million manats in the balance sheet for 2018, Trend reports referring to the organization’s audit report.

During the year, the organization’s assets decreased by 7 percent. The main share of assets (82 percent) was comprised of client loans at four million manats (a decrease of 8 percent over the year). The volume of cash and cash equivalents amounted to 241,000 manats, having increased by more than three times.

The total volume of obligations amounted to 3.976 million manats, which is 13 percent less than in 2017. Almost all of them were comprised of debt obligations at 3.963 million manats.

The total capital of the NBCO increased by a third to 902,700 manats, mainly via covering a loss of 214,000 manats and retained earnings of the organization in the amount of 29,600 manats.
