The State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan announced that citizens will be able to monthly transfer up to $10,000 to their “Visa Classic Syýahat” and “MasterCard Standard Syýahat” bank cards, Trend reports with reference to "Business - Turkmenistan agency".
The balance on the "Syýahat" cards is replenished only in foreign currency and during this process the customers do not need information about the origin of funds, the message said.
A customer can replenish balance both in cash and with funds transferred from other foreign currency accounts. Both new cards have the same capabilities.
A customer can withdraw up to $200 per day from card in cash. The bank holds 1.75 percent for this operation.
With cashless settlements there are no restrictions.
