The largest number of money transfers from Kazakhstan accounted for Uzbekistan, Turkey and Russian in November 2021, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s National Bank.
Thus, the volume of transfers from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan was 84,800 in November, which is 40.5 percent of the total amount of transfers carried out during the reporting month, and is 15.2 percent less than in October and 78.9 percent more than in November 2021.
The value of money transfers from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan amounted to 23.07 billion tenge ($53.4 million), which also is 24.3 percent less than in October and is 2.6 times more than in January 2021.
In turn, the volume of money transfers from Turkey to Kazakhstan equaled 30,800 transfers worth 21.3 billion tenge ($49.3 million) during the reporting month, which is 14.7 percent of the total volume and is 24.6 percent of the total value.
The volume of money transfers to Turkey increased by 3.7 percent compared to October and by 61.2 percent compared to January, whereas the value grew by 2.9 percent and 72.8 percent respectively.
The value of transfers from Kazakhstan to Russia amounted to 38,800 transfers worth 12.8 billion tenge ($29.6 million), which is 18.5 percent of the total volume and is 14.7 percent of the total value.
The volume of money transfers to Russia decreased by 3.2 percent compared to October and by 8.2 percent compared to January, whereas the value went down by 1.5 percent and by 1.2 percent respectively .
The overall volume of money transfers sent from Kazakhstan abroad equaled 209,500 transfers from a total of 87.04 billion tenge ($201.4 million).
