BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. Total assets of Azerbaijani AccessBank in 1Q2022 increased by 16 percent compared to the same period last year, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.
According to AccessBank, total assets increased by 135.6 million manat ($79.7 million) over year - up to 983.6 million manat ($578.6 million).
The largest share (67.8 percent) in their structure was the loan portfolio, which grew by 28.2 percent over the year to 666.9 million manat ($392.3 million).
Deduction of targeted reserves from the bank's portfolio to ensure possible losses amounted to 37.3 million manat ($21.9 million).
According to the results of 1Q2022, 18.76 percent of AccessBank's total assets were cash and cash equivalents, which increased by 28.68 percent over the year to 184.5 million manat ($108.5 million).
Another 1.4 percent of the bank's assets were investments in securities - 14.1 million manat ($8.3 million).
Unused real estate in the structure of AccessBank's long-term assets amounted to 53.9 million manat ($31.7 million). Other assets of AccessBank in 1Q2022 amounted to 36.6 million manat ($21.5 million).
