BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 22. The total liabilities of Azerbaijan’s Bank of Baku increased by 25.22 percent as of June 30, 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

According to the bank, the total liabilities of the Bank of Baku increased by 95.8 million manat ($56.3 million) over the year (up to 475.9 million manat or $279.9 million).

Deposits accounted for a significant share (57.5 percent) in the structure of liabilities - 274.9 million manat ($161.7 million).

The share of deposits of individuals in the structure of liabilities of the Bank of Baku amounted to 88.4 percent. The deposits of individuals amounted to 243.2 million manat ($143 million).

The share of deposits of legal entities in the structure of the bank's liabilities amounted to 11.5 percent. Deposits of legal entities amounted to 31.7 million manat ($18.6 million).

The share capital of the bank amounted to 52.8 million manat ($31 million) as of June 30, 2022.

The total capital of the Bank of Baku amounted to 103.8 million manat ($61 million) in the second quarter of 2022, having increased by 20.1 percent over the year.
