ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, January 8. The UN predicts a noticeable decrease in consumer price inflation in Turkmenistan until 2025, Trend reports.

According to the 'World Economic Situation and Prospects 2024' report by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), consumer price inflation in Turkmenistan will reach 8 percent this year, which is lower than in 2023 (10.3 percent).

Furthermore, the report shows that consumer price inflation in the country will continue to decline and will reach 6.9 percent by 2025.

Meanwhile, the decrease in consumer prices in Turkmenistan is due to a number of measures taken by the Government to ensure the stability of the economy and improve the welfare of the population.

One of the key factors is the effective management of inflation and monetary policy aimed at controlling the level of prices.
