( dpa )- Adobe has announced a new Mac version of Photoshop Elements. The sixth update of the software, designed to let amateurs manipulate photographs, is expected to go on sale starting in the spring. The new version will be compatible with Apple's Leopard operating system and older Mac OS X operating systems, starting with 10.4.8. At a price of just under 100 euros (149 dollars), the new program includes functions like a new quick selection tool and photomerge technology, designed to let users create group portraits from multiple individual portraits.
