(Mobilmag.com) - The LG Venus has been
available through Verizon Wireless for a little while now, but we all know that
Canadian service providers tend to lag a little behind. Rogers isn't the only
Canadian telecom to announce a new LG cell phone today, because Telus Mobility
is proud to say that they'll have the LG Venus.
While it takes on a similar slider form factor as the LG Chocolate, the the LG
Venus replaces the conventional five way navigator with a dynamic touchscreen
that sits underneath the main screen. This adapts to the situation, showing
music controls when you're bobbing your head or camera controls when you're
snapping a pic. The Venus will ship in both black and pink, and it can take
advantage of all the Telus SPARK services like TV and radio.
No word on pricing, but "LG is excited to launch our LG VENUS Touch phone
in Canada with TELUS. Canadians looking for style and state-of-the-art
technology will love this phone."
