The growth rate of communication and informatization services in Uzbekistan from January through February 2021 compared to the same reported period in 2020 amounted to 13.3 percent, Trend reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the share of communication and informatization services amounted in the total volume of market services provided in 2M2021 accounted for 5.6 percent.
It is reported that the highest growth rates of communication and informatization services provided in Uzbekistan for 2M2021 were registered in Tashkent, amounting to 31.2 percent.
Almost two times fewer communication and informatization services were provided during the reporting period in the Syrdarya region – 17.2 percent.
At the same time, the growth rates of the mentioned services in Surkhandarya regions amounted to 14.8 percent, Tashkent region – 14.6 percent, Khorezm region – 14.5 percent, Kashkadarya – 12.8 percent, Jizzakh region – 12.3 percent, Navoi region – 12.2 percent, Karakalpakstan Republic – 12.1 percent and in Andijan region – 10 percent.
A slight increase in communication and information services, compared to last year, was recorded in Fergana region – 8.9 percent, Samarkand region – 7.9 percent, Bukhara region – 7 percent and Namangan region – 4.4 percent.
