Batumi port discloses volume of cargo transportation to/from Azerbaijan

The total volume of cargo transportation via Georgia’s Batumi port to Azerbaijan amounted to 16,243 tons in January-February 2020, Batumi Sea Port Ltd. told Trend.

"Of this volume, 11,048 tons accounted for palm oil and 5,194 tons accounted for soya," added the source.

Cargo transportation from Azerbaijan to Batumi port stood at 17,925 tons during the reporting period and the whole volume accounted for carbamid in big bag.

The total volume of cargo transportation via Georgia’s Batumi port to Azerbaijan amounted to 343,659 tons in January-December 2019.

Of this volume, 223,878 tons accounted for raw sugar. Moreover, 57,914 tons of palm oil, 43,196 tons of soya, 13,474 tons of corn oil and 3,308 tons of spar were transported via Batumi port to Azerbaijan in January-December 2019.

Cargo transportation from Azerbaijan to Batumi port stood at 14,697 tons during the reporting period, of which 999 tons accounted for industrial oil and 13,697 tons accounted for carbamid in big bag.
