Uzbekistan produced about 238,870 passenger cars over the past ten months, which is 9.11 percent higher compared to the same period in 2019, Trend reports with reference to State Statistic Committee of Uzbekistan.
Some 66,481 Cobalt cars (growth rates compared to the same period in 2019 amounted to 46.7 percent), Gentra - 41,799 (21 percent), Damas - 44,076 (4.4 percent), Spark - 21,757 (15.2 percent) and Labo - 7,061 (18.2 percent) were produced in the automotive industry from January through October 2020.
Only Nexia cars production decreased for the reported period by 6 percent amounting to 57,694 cars produced.
In particular, 566 buses were produced in Uzbekistan for the reported period (a decrease of 60.7 percent). The largest production volume in 2020 was noted in March, amounting to 176 units.
The volume of automotive engines produced in the country for 10M2020 accounts for 192,600 units (an increase of 16.5 percent). The largest volume of manufacturing of these products in 2020 was noted in July, amounting to 24,100 engines.
As for trucks, the number of these vehicles produced over the past the months amounted to 3,306 (a decrease of 25.5 percent). The largest volume of trucks produced this year was recorded in September, amounting to 390.
