Uzbekistan Airports JSC will provide foreign airlines carrying pilgrims with discounts on service up to 50 percent, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekistan Airports JSC.
It is reported that In order to develop the tourism industry in Uzbekistan and create conditions for pilgrimage, separate conditions have been determined for airlines.
Thus, when implementing a special program for Ziyorat-tourism (pilgrimage) for the purpose of transporting pilgrims, agreed by Uzbekistan Airports with the State Committee for the development of tourism in Uzbekistan, foreign airlines are provided with a discount of up to 50 percent on the published tariffs for the main types of ground handling services for aircraft at international airports.
In addition, in order to expand the geography of flights and improve the attractiveness of the airports of Uzbekistan, foreign airlines will be provided with a differentiated discount of up to 30 percent to the published tariffs for the main types of ground handling services for aircraft:
- for new declared foreign airlines when performing flights in new directions and developing routes to international airports of Uzbekistan;
- on new routes for existing foreign airlines operating flights to/from regional airports of Uzbekistan;
- for additional frequencies in addition to the current number of flights.
