Volume of cargo loaded/unloaded in Iran’s Anzali port down

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Anzali port of the Gilan Province (northern Iran) decreased by 0.3 percent in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 23 through September 22, 2021), compared to the 5th month (June 23 through August 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 147,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Anzali port in the sixth month. Of this, 43,400 tons were loaded and 104,000 tons were unloaded.

In addition, 40,300 tons of cargo were exported and 104,000 tons were imported through the Anzali port over the reporting month.

Also, 3,000 tons of cargo were loaded in the port for transit, as well as, 62 tons of cargo were unloaded for other purposes in the sixth month, the statistics said.

According to the statistics, 85,200 tons of essential products, 199 tons of metal products, 17,000 tons of construction and mining materials, 1,210 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts were loaded and unloaded in the Anzali port in the 6th month of the current Iranian year.

Moreover, 11,300 tons of chemicals, 23,600 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper and wood materials, 8,390 tons of container products and 582 tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded and unloaded in this port within the mentioned month.

As reported, about 11.3 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the sixth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.98 million tons were loaded and 5.35 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 2 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
