ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 18. Turkmenistan's Turkmenbashi International Seaport, having updated the tariff system, creates new opportunities for transporting grain crops from Russia, Trend reports.

According to the Turkmendenizderyayollary Agency, there are currently 14 storages with a total capacity of 35,000 cubic meters at the bulk cargo terminal of the Turkmenbashi port for storing various grain crops, including wheat, barley and corn.

Furthermore, thanks to the modern automatic conveyor system installed at this terminal, up to 350 tons of grain can be unloaded per hour from the ship directly into wagons, cars or a warehouse.

Moreover, for Russian shipowners who regularly transport grain and other cargoes to Iranian seaports, it is possible to pick up return cargoes from the port of Turkmenbashi upon return to their country.

Turkmenistan is actively developing its port system, opening up new prospects for economic growth and transport infrastructure.

With the participation of important initiatives, the country improves conditions for the transportation of goods through its ports, which helps to strengthen trade ties and create a favorable environment for international cooperation.
