The Turkish Parliament decided to issue dual citizenship to Ahiska-Turks, World Ahiska-Turks Union and National Center of Ahiska-Turks head Ziyaddin Ismikhanoglu told Trend .
Ismikhanoglu said dual citizenship is offered in accordance with the Law on Turkish Citizenship over a course of 6 months after verifying the necessary documents.
Ahiska-Turks were deported from Georgia to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in 1944.
