Kazakhstan, Astana, Nov.1 / D. Mukhtarov/
The Ministry of Environmental Protection of Kazakhstan discusses a concept of a multilevel integrated monitoring of the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea, Kazakh newspaper "Liter" reported on Thursday with reference to Chairman of the Ecological Regulation and Control Committee at the Environmental Protection Ministry, Daniyar Erenchinov.
He said the concept will be adopted in late November.
"The working group is now ready to attract public members. Then the concept will be submitted for discussion to the government," he added.
Local ecologists have repeatedly raised the issue on absence of state ecological monitoring station in Kazakhstan to study the state of the Caspian Sea.
