BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 12. Kazakhstan has launched pilot distribution of cheaper fuel for farmers, Trend reports via the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
There's a special application to use for getting cheaper fuel. It's available through the gosagro.kz system. Currently, farmers of the Kostanay and Zhambyl regions are submitting inquiries for fuel and lubricants. This testing in pilot mode should exclude possible errors in the further use of the system.
The online system also provides for the creation of field maps. The area of cultivated land is outlined automatically by satellite images and displayed to the farmer on the аgrospace.gharysh.kz portal.
In addition, the integration with the state subsidy system is operational and it includes the implementation of counter-obligations.
Earlier, it was noted that Kazakhstan has allocated 140 billion Kazakh tenge ($316.3 million) to finance the spring campaign for the Ken-Dala program, which aims to support sowing and harvesting on an area of approximately 2 million hectares.
Of these funds, a total of 133.8 billion Kazakh tenge ($302.3 billion) have already been paid to the farmers.
