ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 9. Exports from Kazakhstan decreased by more than 15 percent in six months, Trend reports.
Kazakhstan’s exports fell by 15.1 percent and amounted to $32.6 billion from January to June 2023.
The main export products are the following: crude oil - $20.5 billion (63 percent share), copper and copper cathodes - $1.6 billion (4.8 percent), ores and copper concentrates - $1.4 billion (4.2 percent), ferroalloys - $1.2 billion (3.6 percent), wheat - $1 billion (3.2 percent), natural gas - $668 million (2.1 percent), petroleum products - $598.1 million (1.8 percent), uranium - $506 million (1.6 percent), silver - $352.7 million (1.1 percent), wheat flour or wheat-rye - $277.9 million (0.85 percent).
Cambodia, with stocks of $228,600, has emerged, as have Syria, Paraguay, and Liechtenstein, with supplies of $196,400, $48,100, and $22,200, respectively.
From January to June 2023, total international trade turnover was $53.4 billion, 4.4 percent more than the same period in 2022.
