The World Bank (WB) will invest $16 million for irrigative system and soil restoration project in Kyrgyzstan from 2013 to 2017, KyrTAG reported on Monday with the reference to the WB representative in the country, Alexander Kremer.
Kremer said that around $11.5 million are planned to be spent directly on the restoration of irrigative systems.
According to the statement, the range of projects on the agricultural land recovery will be implemented during those five years.
