BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Kyrgyzstan considerably increased food production from January through May 2022, Trend reports via National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
The total value of Kyrgyzstan's food production in the reporting period amounted to 15.2 billion soums ($191.5 million), - an increase of 43.3 percent compared to the same period of last year (10.6 billion soums or $134.5 million).
Kyrgyzstan's production of meat products from January through May 2022 totaled 2.1 billion soums ($26.6 million), which is an increase of 50 percent compared to the same period of 2021 (1.4 billion soums, or $18.1 million).
Meanwhile, the total amount of dairy products production reached 5.3 billion soums ($67.4 million), which is an increase of 32.5 percent compared to 4 billion soums ($50.5 million) in the reporting period of 2021.
