BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 25. Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover with France reached $76.285 million from January through October 2023, constituting 0.6 percent of Kyrgyzstan’s total trade turnover, Trend reports.
Data from Kyrgyzstan’s State Statistical Agency indicates a significant surge of 97.9 percent in trade turnover compared to the same period in 2022, which amounted to $38.547 million.
Exports from Kyrgyzstan to France totaled $574,600, which is an increase of 63.6 percent compared to the corresponding period in 2022 ($351,300). Its share in Kyrgyzstan's total trade turnover was notably minor.
The majority share was occupied by imports into Kyrgyzstan from France, soaring by 98.2 percent to $75.711 million from January through October 2023, as opposed to $38.196 million in the same timeframe in 2022. This accounted for 0.8 percent of Kyrgyzstan’s imports.
Kyrgyzstan’s trade turnover reached $12.297 billion from January through October 2023, increasing by 24.9 percent compared to $9.845 billion in the same period of 2022.
Exports from Kyrgyzstan totaled $2.443 billion during the 10 months, which is a 29.6 percent increase compared to $1.885 billion recorded from January through October 2022. Imports into Kyrgyzstan amounted to $9.854 billion during this period, reflecting a 23.8 percent increase compared to the same period in 2022 ($7.959 billion).
