BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 21. Turkmenistan and Austria will hold the 11th meeting of the joint commission on cooperation and a business forum within its framework on November 29-30 in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan), Trend reports citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH).
This was announced on November 18 by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Atdaev at a government meeting.
According to him, it is expected that representatives of machine-building companies producing high-tech equipment for the wood processing, plastic and metalworking industries, agriculture and water management, food industry, healthcare, etc. will come to Ashgabat.
Furthermore, the Deputy Chairman noted that digital systems and electronic software, environmental protection, culture, education and science are also identified as key areas of interest.
A number of bilateral meetings and negotiations between representatives of Austrian companies and the Turkmen business community are scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the forum.
