Uzbekneftegaz JSC implementing modernization of unit at Uzbekistan's Shurtan Headings

Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz JSC is implementing an investment project worth $15.2 million “Modernization of the gas purification unit by using zeolite at the Shurtan Head Facility”, Trend reports on April 16 referring to the Uzbek media.

The modernization of the equipment of the existing gas purification unit by using zeolite is aimed at purifying and improving the quality of 20.0 billion cubic meters of natural gas from hydrogen sulfide and liquid per year within the project.

It is planned to purchase equipment imported from foreign plants and equipment manufactured by the German Borsig ValveTech GmbH, the Czech Global Industrial Solutions, the Chinese HUA YING VALVE CO. LTD, and others for the implementation of the project.

The work on the preparation and delivery of equipment has begun.

Such equipment as high-temperature ball control valves, combined heat exchange equipment, furnace internals, raw gas separator, condenser electrical equipment, automatic system control equipment, metering, and automatic devices and control valves have been obtained.

At the same time, the work is underway to conclude the contracts with domestic enterprises for the supply of pipes and pipeline products.

The installation of all supplied domestic equipment and devices was completed. Currently, the high-temperature ball control valves, supplied from the Czech Republic, are being installed.

To date, General Contractor – Mubarek Neftegaz Montazh LLC has completed 55.0 percent of construction work. The construction and installation work is planned to be completed in November 2021.
