Gross Domestic Product of Uzbekistan from January through September 2021 amounted to 519.8 trillion soums ($48.5 billion), Trend reports via The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics.
GDP of Uzbekistan grew by 21.4 percent in nine months of 2021, compared to the same period last year it amounted to 428.1 trillion soums, $39.9 billion.
The main part of the GDP makes up agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors (129.5 trillion soums or $12 billion) from January through September 2021. The volume of products of these industries increased by 24 percent, compared to the same period last year (104.4 trillion soums, $9.7 billion).
Second largest part of the GDP makes up manufacturing industry which amounted to 102.7 trillion soums ($9.5 billion) in the first nine months of 2021, having increased by 26.4 percent. For comparison, for the same period of 2020, the volume of products of this industry amounted to 81.2 trillion soums ($7.5 billion).
Third main part of GDP makes up construction industry, amounted to 32.9 trillion soums ($3 million) from January through September 2021, increased by 19.7 percent compared to the same period last year (27.4 trillion soums, $2.5 million).
