BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 9. Uzbekistan has exported 135,800 tons of melons and watermelons worth $32.5 million from January through November 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
Melons and watermelon exports increased by 53,800 tons compared to the corresponding period last year.
During this period, Uzbekistan sent melons and watermelons for export to 16 countries.
The statistics note that 335,000 tons of Uzbek fruits and berries were exported from January through November 2022.
