BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 9. Uzbekistan's imports of coffee decreased in January 2023, compared to January 2022, Trend reports via Uzbekistan’s State Statistics Committee.
Uzbekistan imported some 698 tons of coffee worth $3.1 million in January 2023, less by 57.7 tons, compared to January 2022.

In January 2023, Uzbekistan overall imported goods and services worth $2.9 billion. This figure has increased by 39.8 percent, compared to the relevant period in 2022 ($2.1 billion). The main share in imports structure falls on machinery and transport equipment (45.6 percent), industrial goods (13.4 percent), as well as chemical products (12.1 percent).
During the first month of this year, Uzbekistan imported goods and services from 121 partners. The main exporting countries for Uzbekistan were Germany ($490.8 million), Russia ($469.6 million), China ($461 million), Kazakhstan ($276.8 million), Türkiye ($153.5million), South Korea ($141.4 million), Lithuania ($105 million).
