BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. Uzbekistan has exported to Azerbaijan some 436 tons of dried grapes worth $946,000 from January through February 2023, Trend reports via the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
The export of Uzbek dried grapes to Azerbaijan in the reporting period has decreased by 41.1 percent or 305 tons, compared to the same period in 2022 (741 tons worth $1.5 million).
In 2022, Uzbekistan exported to Azerbaijan some 3,347 tons worth $7.1 million, which is 39.2 percent more, compared to the figure for 2021 (2,403 tons).
State Statics Committee of Uzbekistan says that during the first two months of 2023, Uzbekistan exported to its trade partners some 15,500 tons of dried grapes worth $14.2 million, decreasing by 15.5 percent year-on-year.
Meanwhile, Uzbek statistics note that during the first two months of 2023, the country exported some 135,600 tons of fruit and vegetables worth $116.4 million to its trade partners, decreasing by 1.2 times or 28,500 tons year-on-year.
