Uzbekistan's Saneg sees rise in liquids output in 1H2023

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 17. Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (Saneg), largest private oil and gas company of Uzbekistan, increased liquid hydrocarbon production by 10.6 percent year-on-year from January through June 2023 - up to 305,200 tons, Trend reports.

According to the company, gas production in the reporting period amounted to 723.2 million cubic meters, which is 22.8 percent more than over the first half of 2022.

At the same time, Saneg's average daily production of hydrocarbons from January through June 2023 stood at 1,648 tons per day, which is an increase of 1.7 percent year-on-year.

The development of new wells from drilling into industrial production, as well as geological and technical measures carried out on 106 wells, including the cutting of side wells and the commissioning of previously closed wells, have driven the production growth during the reporting period.

Separately, projects to increase oil and gas production in the Chegara, Yangi Karatep, Sharky Spannli, and Zheynov fields of Kashkadarya region were implemented.
