TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 27. Russia plans to deliver more than 12,000 tons of gasoline and 630 tons of diesel fuel to Uzbekistan by rail by the end of October 2023, Trend reports.

As per data provided by Argus analytical agency, in addition to these liquid fuels, there are substantial quantities of other products on the export list, including 170 tons of Russian naphtha, 26,500 tons of bitumen, and almost 29,000 tons of fuel oil intended for the Uzbek market.

“The plans encompass the supply of over 39,000 tons of gas condensate from Russia to Uzbekistan’s Akhunbabayev station, strategically located near the Ferghana oil refinery. An additional 9,000 tons of gas condensate will be directed to the Karaulbazar station, situated near the Bukhara refinery,” the report states.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s large enterprises produced 1 million tons of gasoline from January through September of 2023, which reflects a 14 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Earlier this month, Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz JSC oil and gas company started importing RON-100 high-octane gasoline from Russia, with a retail price of 15,800 Uzbek soums ($1.3) per liter.

Moreover, in August 2023, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed relevant departments and companies to import 120,000 tons of gasoline by the end of 2023 to ensure stable fuel supplies in the autumn-winter period.
