A 17-year old Iranian soccer player Said Fakhari is working towards setting a world "keepie uppie" record on ball juggling, IRIB News reported.

Keepie uppie, or "kick-ups" is the skill of juggling with a football using feet, lower legs, knees, chest, shoulders, and head, without allowing the ball to hit the ground.

Fakhari has started juggling the ball this morning, and plans to juggle it for 34 hours exactly - as the number matches the 34th anniversary of the victory of Islamic Revolution.

The members of Iran's Record holding committee are present at the arena where Fakhari is trying to achieve the record.

The men's record is held by Dan Magness of England, a 25 year old professional freestyler, who kept a regulation football aloft for 26 hours using just his feet, legs, shoulders and head; he completed the feat - which took place in Hong Kong, in June 2010.

The women's record is held by Daniella Jazaeria of Iran, who accomplished 7 hours 5 minutes and 25 seconds on July 12, 1996.
