Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the country can not develop without actively taking part in world's management.
Ahmadinejad made the remarks in an event organized by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting to hail his administration for its achievements over the past eight years, the IRNA News Agency reported.
Ahmadinejad also said that a divine world order needs to replace the current cruel and inhumane system.
"The Iranian nation has the potential to create a new global order," he added.
He further highlighted the need for efforts to lead the country to its rightful position on the global stage.
The outgoing president further slammed arrogant powers for trying to hinder Iran's progress.
