43,500 tons of products exported via customs in Iranian province

As many as 43,500 tons of products were exported through customs located in Pishin town of Sarbaz county in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province during three months (March 21-June 21) this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), head of Chabahar Main Customs Office Majid Mazloomi said, Trend reports via IRNA.

He said that goods worth $40 million were exported to Pakistan during the mentioned period. He added that the exported products were mostly bitumen, cement, ceramic and dairy products.

“During the three months, 360,000 tons of goods worth $388 million have been imported through the Chabahar customs and the Free Trade Zone,” he said.

He noted that imported products increased by 103 percent in terms of weight and by 90 percent in terms of value.

He added that rice, corn, sugar, animals and car spare parts were mainly imported.

Noting that the Chabahar customs received revenues worth 712 billion rials (about $16.9 million) during this period, he said that this figure increased by 38 percent compared to the same period last year.
