(geekzone.co.nz) - HTC has introduced the HTC P435, its own version of the OEM HTC Herald Pocket PC Phone Edition, to be available throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in early December.
Complementing existing HTC devices, the HTC P4350 is just 17mm thick and features a semi-automatic sliding full QWERTY keypad. The compact form factor hosts a 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM and a 200MHz CPU. Memory can be expanded throug microSD memory cards, reports Trend.
Designed for easy messaging, the HTC P4350 features Windows Mobile 5.0 Direct push email technology providing users with instant e-mail delivery when synchronising the device with a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 SP2 or newer. The device also comes with Internet Explorer Mobile and synchronization support with Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Contacts, Pocket MSN.
Users have the ability to work on applications in the Microsoft Office Mobile suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and view PDF documents.
The compact device boasts a 2.8'' QVGA (240x320 pixels) colour display with a touch-screen and a landscape when the keyboard is open. A 5-way navigation control ensures easy operation and weighing just 168g (battery included), maximum functionality is offered in a compact case.
As a phone and mobile data device the quad-band Pocket PC Phone supporting GSM/GPRS and EDGE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 2.0.
The HTC P4350 will retail for US$735 when launched.
